Visitors' Code of Conduct
Our commitment to you
Our mission is to provide a safe, vibrant and welcoming space to inspire and nurture our community of life-long learners. Our aim is to ensure our adventurous range of creative learning opportunities are accessible to all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
If you or your child have additional needs, we ask you to make us aware so that we can provide appropriate support.
What we ask in return
We ask Conservatoire visitors of all ages to respect our staff and tutors and to help us maintain an environment free from abuse or threat. If a member of our staff or tutor team or another customer or student finds your or your child’s language or behaviour unacceptable, we will talk to you about it and may have to ask you or your child to withdraw from Conservatoire activities.
Examples of unacceptable language or behaviour towards another student or one of our team may include, but are not restricted to:
- Insulting or aggressive language or gestures
- Negative comments based on characteristics such as ethnicity, disability, gender or gender presentation, religion, marital status, sexual orientation, age, pregnancy or maternity, appearance or any other characteristic
- Aggressive or bullying behaviour
- Physical threats
Thank you for helping us maintain the Conservatoire as a safe, friendly and welcoming space for everyone.
