Ezgi Cansev

Ezgi is originally from Turkey and has studied music and dance since childhood. She teaches cello, piano and music theory to students of all ages.

Ezgi studied ballet and music throughout her schooling and after being introduced to teachers from Ankara Anatolian Fine Arts Music School, was encouraged to apply and passed the entrance exam with flying colours. She studied cello at the school with Tufan Tolga, lead cellist of the Presidential Symphony Orchestra.

Upon finishing secondary school, she attended Marmara University Department of Education of Music and took part in the Erasmus Exchange Program, where she studied to teach music at Szeged University in Hungary. She also performed with the Marmara University Orchestra and Choir.

Moving to London alone has given her the independence to truly appreciate how much she enjoys and values teaching.
