Olivia Thomas
Olivia is a professional soprano hailing from Lincolnshire. She pursued her music studies at Newcastle University from 2017 to 2021, where she developed her vocal skills and musical knowledge. She furthered her education by completing a master's degree with distinction in voice performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire from 2022 to 2024, where she was a Kathleen Roberts vocal scholar.
In July 2024, Olivia made her opera debut at Blackheath Halls and has taken on various roles in Trinity Laban's opera scenes. Additionally, she served as a volunteer singer for the Old Royal Naval Chapel Choir. A passionate learner, Olivia enjoys studying the Italian language and has shared her knowledge by teaching English to children in Italy.
Olivia's dedication to performance is reflected in her teaching approach, where she aims to inspire the next generation of pianists and singers. She fosters a supportive, fun, and engaging learning environment and emphasizes the importance of building confidence in her students, helping them to express themselves artistically while mastering technical skills.
