Joanna Brown

Joanna trained at Rose Bruford College as an Actor Musician. She has enjoyed a wonderfully diverse career, travelling the world as a performer, teacher & director.

Jo has performed in many stage shows & had the chance to play some hugely loved characters. Most recently, she could be found playing Beatrix Potter in Where Is Peter Rabbit? at Theatre Royal Haymarket, London. Other credits include: Alice in Dick Whittington; Helena (2015) & Bottom (2020) in A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Betty O' Barley in A Scarecrows Wedding; Queen Of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland; Granny in Red Riding Hood; Ariel in The Tempest. 

Jo plays the clarinet, sax, piano and accordion. She has a huge love for teaching & very much enjoys travelling to mystical magical places each week with the students at Blackheath!
