Printmaking from Nature (18+)
Tuesday 8th April, 18.00 – 21.00 (£38)
This one-off evening class will provide an introduction to the process of printmaking and specifically Monoprint, where each finished print is entirely unique. This class will provide quick and exciting results by focusing on expressive mark making, along with using a mix of different materials such as wood, plastic and even leather. Suitable for complete beginners or those with some knowledge of printmaking. Materials and equipment are all included but participants are also welcome to bring their own, as well as physical objects to work from e.g. leaves/flowers. We are delighted to be working with Euan for the first time as a tutor. Euan is an artist specialising in drawing and printmaking. His ongoing studies in anatomy, identity and natural history play with medium, scale and sequence to produce results that can be traditional or experimental in nature. His work is held in collections at the V&A, Fabriano Museum and the Wellcome Collection.

Dynamic Life Drawing (18+)
Wednesday 9th April, 18.00 - 21.00 (£38)
Draw, erase, repeat! Join this one-off evening life drawing class to gain a deeper understanding of the figure through challenging observational life drawing techniques. If you enjoyed the class in October, you'll love this, but previous attendance is not required. Some life drawing experience is beneficial but this class is open to all levels, including beginners. You’ll study and draw a model a number of times throughout the evening with different challenges attached to each drawing… and you’ll be erasing them as you go! You will end the evening creating your final piece, with the option of using charcoal as well as pencil, using the shadows of erased marks to enrich your final study. Visiting tutor Jonathan Huxley is a contemporary artist and artist educator at the Royal Academy of Arts, and we are delighted to be working with him again on this holiday programme.
