We have expanded our Adult Drama department with a fascinating range of new courses designed to intrigue, excite and develop life and career skills.
Blackheath Community Theatre (18+) (formerly Adult Drama)
Mondays 19.45 - 21.45
6th January - 31st March (12 weeks, + 1 performance session, £221) Improve your confidence, self expression and performance skills by joining the Conservatoire's Community Theatre groups. Enrolling termly and open to adult students of all ages and experience, the groups will use adapted playscripts to create together, working on everything from comedy to tragedy and naturalism to expressionism - classic and modern. As an ensemble, different acting styles and techniques will be explored to prepare and rehearse a show across the term. Each term will culminate with both groups performing a short show to an audience of family and friends, either in the Conservatoire's beautiful Victorian studio or locally at the Bakehouse Theatre. These performances usually take place on the penultimate and final Sunday evenings of term.
